"Vilnius dainavo su B.Tyler ir „Slade“

Po B. Tyler į sceną žengė britų glam roko grupė „Slade“. „Slade“ ketvertas B. Tyler klaidos nekartojo ir publikai dėkojo „ačiū“.

Klausytojai šėlo pagal britų rokerių atliekamas dainas. „Tiesiog džiaugiamės tuo, ką darome“, - žurnalistams kalbėjo „Slade“ nariai. Jie susidomėjo Vilniuje esančia statula muzikantui Frankui Zappai.

Britų atlikėjų klausėsi kiek vyresnio amžiaus publika, tačiau buvo ir nemažai jaunosios kartos atstovų. Dauguma dalyvavusių koncerte puikiai pamena laikus, kai B. Tyler ar „Slade“ buvo pačioje populiarumo viršūnėje.

„Slade“ - daugiausiai singlų aštuntame dešimtmetyje Didžiojoje Britanijoje pardavusi britų grupė. Didžiausiais „Slade“ hitais tapo „Coz I Love You“, „Mama Weer All Crazee Now“, „Cum on Feel the Noize“, „My Oh My“, „Radio Wall of Sound“ ir amžinos kalėdinės dainos „Merry Xmas Everybody“.

„Slade“ didžiausiu įkvėpėju vadina daugybė muzikos žvaigždžių – Gene Simmonsas („Kiss“), Joey Ramone („The Ramones“), Steve Jonesas („The Sex Pistols“), Ritchie Blackmore („Deep Purple“, „Rainbow“), Tomas Jonesas, Alice Cooperis, Noelis Gallagheris („Oasis“), Kurtas Cobainas („Nirvana“), Ozzy Osbourne ir kiti."
